Story is truly a sense of creativity and joy. With this story, the elements of a story are introduced by a panda who does not have a problem; character, setting, problem, and solution. After reading, the students get ideas and add to their book that we started last class. They expand on what they have started by developing the elements of a story in their book.
I hated math growing up. Through my education, I now see that math is everywhere and connected to everything. Math can be so much fun, it is no longer just answering questions on a worksheet. I brought my passion for sustainable practices to respect our land into this math lesson.
